Everyone seems to know #8. It's one of the older American turquoise mines located north of Carlin, Nevada. Mining here commenced in the late 1920's and continued until late in the last century. At that time it was strip mined and all the turquoise was stockpiled. Recently a great amount of stabilized #8 has made its way to the market. This is some of that material priced @ .70 gr with a 40 gr. minimum. Please note that we have some natural #8 (almost unheard of) also listed in this section as well as a lot or two in our Turquoise Rough Lots section.
